We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team covering the full AB postcode footprint. Applicants from all AB postcodes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a van or lorry to deliver products to designated locations efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driver's licence is required; experience with commercial driving is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
