About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at a busy wholesale automotive parts company. The role involves collecting parts from our warehouse and delivering them to trade customers in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect automotive parts from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery
- Deliver parts to garages, workshops, and trade customers on assigned routes
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with customers
- Handle delivery paperwork and obtain signatures where required
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and in good condition
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle problems to management
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry automotive parts when required
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not essential
