About the Role
We are recruiting experienced 2-Man Delivery Drivers and Driver’s Mates to carry out home deliveries and professional installation of household appliances. This role involves delivering heavy goods, installing appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, and fridges, and providing exceptional customer service inside customers’ homes.
Candidates must be confident using tools and have experience with basic electrical and plumbing connections (training can be provided for the right applicants).
Position 1: 2-Man Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Drive a company 3.5T vehicle
- Work together with a Driver’s Mate to deliver and install household appliances
- Install appliances safely and correctly using hand tools
- Load and unload goods safely
- Deliver into customers’ homes with care and professionalism
- Complete delivery forms or handheld device tasks
- Perform basic daily vehicle checks
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License
- Confident using tools and carrying out appliance installations
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous 2-man home delivery experience preferred
Position 2: Driver’s Mate Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with delivery and installation of appliances
- Use tools confidently during installations and removals
- Support with loading/unloading heavy goods
- Help with paperwork and customer communication
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a 2-man team
Requirements:
- Good practical skills and comfortable using tools
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Installation or 2-man delivery experience preferred but not essential
Shifts:
- Shift 1: 6am – 4pm
- Shift 2: 8am – 6pm
