Deans Pharmacy, Kilmarnock is looking to recruit a Pharmacy Delivery Driver who is motivated, organised, and capable of managing a reliable delivery service for our patients.
As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will work closely with the local community and support the smooth running of the pharmacy by delivering medications to patients, particularly the elderly and vulnerable.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume delivery schedule of approximately 80–100 drops per day.
- Operate Proof of Delivery (POD) software to track and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Collect prescriptions from multiple GP practices.
- Use local area knowledge with Sat Nav to plan and complete deliveries efficiently.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard.
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Hold and maintain a clean driving licence.
- Adhere to data protection policies and confidentiality
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients and colleagues
- Must be trustworthy and reliable
The above outlines the main aspects of the role that we are seeking applicants to undertake and manage a busy daily delivery schedule and effectively prioritise their workload using POD software.
Both full time and part time applications will be considered for this role. Candidates applying for part-time positions will participate in a job share arrangement.
Applicants must hold a clean driving licence and, upon receiving a job offer, will be required to provide a driver check code to verify licence details.
Previous experience with high-volume delivery work is essential.
