Job Description:
84 Acres Doggy Daycare is looking for a reliable Cover Driver to step in when our regular drivers are unavailable due to holidays or sickness. This role involves collecting and dropping off dogs across London, transporting them to our countryside site, and assisting with their care throughout the day.
As a Cover Driver, you will not have a dedicated company van but will always be provided a lift to the site from a meeting point in London. You will need to cover your public transport costs to get to this meeting point. Our pick-up and drop-off locations include Nine Elms, Battersea, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Shepherd’s Bush, Wandsworth, Marylebone, Mayfair, and Soho.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the pet shuttle van (when available)
- Covering different routes as required
- Collecting and dropping off dogs safely
- Holding keys to properties for pick-ups and drop-offs
- Playing with, feeding, and enriching the dogs’ experience
- Assisting with basic training and site maintenance
Requirements:
- Must live within approx. 1 hour of any of the following locations: Nine Elms, Battersea, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Shepherd’s Bush, Wandsworth, Marylebone, Mayfair, or Soho
- Ability to travel via public transport to a meeting point in London
- Comfortable handling and caring for dogs
- Full UK driving licence with experience driving larger vehicles preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with property keys
