Job Title: Driver
Overview
We need a reliable Driver to transport goods safely and on time. You'll operate various vehicles (including flatbed lorries), keep delivery standards high, and represent the company professionally. Safety and efficiency are your priorities.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles, including flatbed lorries, on delivery routes
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly
- Check vehicles daily; report mechanical issues
- Keep accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients about schedules or delays
- Follow road safety rules and company policies
- Help with warehouse tasks (e.g., inventory, stock organisation)
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with a clean record
- Proven commercial or delivery driving experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle checks
- Flatbed lorry experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Warehouse experience is a plus
- Physically able to load and secure cargo safely
- Organised, with attention to route planning and documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £3,400.00-£4,200.00 per month
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
