Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and professional freelance driver to join our team. Shifts would range from early mornings to evening and weekends depending on the business needs. This role involves transporting catering orders, including food, beverages, and supplies, to events and clients via a van or a quadracycle. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, a strong focus on customer service, and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport catering orders to events and clients, ensuring timely and pristine deliveries.
- Load and unload catering items with care, ensuring proper handling of food and supplies.
- Maintain clear communication with the catering team to confirm delivery details and special instructions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and assisting as required.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition for every shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Report any delivery, vehicle, or supply issues to management immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (if applicable) or ability to use company-provided vehicles.
- Prior delivery experience is a plus but not required.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings, with flexibility for varying hours.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift and carry catering items (boxes, trays, etc.) as needed.
- Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in catering or food service.
- Knowledge of local areas and routes.
- Familiarity with GPS or navigation tools.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience and delivery needs.
- Payment will be made per delivery or hourly, depending on the assignment.
