Driver / Logistics Support
Salary: £29,000 - £29,800 pa (pro rata of this for part time hours)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
We are looking for a Part time Driver/Logistics Support to join our Retail Team. This is a role which involves collecting and delivering stock within our Shops Network, unloading stock into our warehouse and completing daily paperwork with details of items both collected and delivered.
Overall purpose of the role
To collect and deliver stock within the Royal Trinity Hospice shops network.
To collect stock from corporate donors and the general public within, and occasionally outside of London.
To use daily paperwork to pick and load allocated stock for delivery.
To complete daily paperwork with details of items collected and dropped off.
To work with the scheduling and tracking software to receive jobs and mark them as complete.
To unload stock into the warehouse or external storage unit, ensuring they are kept tidy and well organised at all times
To keep van well maintained and report any faults or maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
Skills and experience required
Full UK driving license with no endorsements
Good physical fitness, with the ability to carry out high levels of manual handling
Ability to use simple scheduling software device to receive jobs
Ability to understand and complete paperwork to business needs
Experience and confidence in driving a long wheel-base
Excellent interpersonal skills or experience working in a customer focused environment
Attention to detail, and commitment to high standards
