About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Vehicle Technician to join our Fleet Services team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll carry out servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles, while ensuring health and safety standards are met across all workshop activities.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs on cars, light, heavy, and specialist commercial vehicles.
- Provide mobile service support and assist with workshop coordination when required.
- Complete mandatory inspections and calibrations for all workshop equipment.
- Carry out safety checks, toolbox talks, and risk/COSHH assessments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.

- Minimal vehicle downtime and high productivity.
- Accurate records for inspections and health & safety compliance.
- Positive customer feedback and zero complaints.
- Zero accidents and proactive near-miss reporting.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification (or proven experience).
- HGV driving licence.
- Winter maintenance experience.
- Customer-focused approach.
Desirable:
- CPC holder.
- Specialist vehicle knowledge.
- Basic computer and diagnostic skills, plus strong health and safety awareness.
