Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during transportation and loading activities.
Skills
- Experience is not needed as full training will be provided.
- Valid driver’s licence held for at least 3 years for insurance purposes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Strong organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and adhere to schedules.
