We offer two weeks of PAID “trial period”, and for a limited time a signing bonus of £150 after your trial period.
- Training is provided on the job from day one
- The role requires careful planning of your day, and you work in 2 person teams (both of whom help load our trucks)
- The role requires us to be polite and clear in all our dealing with customers
HGV Driver Role
Are you an HGV driver or C/ C1 license holder?
You will need:
- An HGV license (C or C1) and a Tachograph card (Tachos are easy to get and can be ordered in 2 weeks if you don’t have one)
- A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competency) if you don’t have one, just tell us, we will try to help you get one)
Why do our drivers stay with us for so long?
We never expected our drivers to stay beyond 4 years, and many do. There are many reasons including:
- Drivers normally work in 2 person teams – more fun than working alone
- Average daily mileage is 50 miles per day
- It’s never sitting in the cab all day as the role includes driving, loading and drop offs.
- We work together as one team, office, drivers, strong family ethos
- Extra pay through bonuses, tips (from clients) and cool free stuff from our reuse scheme (furniture, electronics, bikes etc)

We work hard, but we have fun, and our drivers are respected and treated well.
Pay: Our drivers earn a very competitive salary made up of a base pay, plus bonuses. The day starts at 07:00am and finishes when the last jobs are completed (normally between 4pm and 6pm).
