Job Introduction
We currently have new opportunities available for Tram Driver-Conductors to join our team at Supertram. We are looking for people focused, safety-conscious individuals, who will take pride in providing an outstanding service for our customers. As a Tram Driver-Conductor, in an exciting dual role, you will be the face of Sheffield’s iconic tram network whilst driving our route and providing ticketing information to passengers.
Working patterns:
Supertram operates 7 days a week between 5am and 1am, so our teams work shifts based around these times. Access to your own transport is advantageous as some of our shifts start or finish at times when public transport often isn't running.
What you’ll do:

Whilst driving, you’ll drive trams along a set route, picking up and dropping off passengers at tram stops in a safe manner

Whilst conducting, Welcome passengers and carry out revenue protection duties including the issuing and checking of tickets and passes and provide customer service, revenue protection and crowd control at major events in the city

Ensuring delivery of a safe tram service

Assist with operational incidents as required

Deliver Customer Care including service updates, addressing queries, providing information, and offering help and assistance when required. Queries could include a wide range of topics, e.g. fares, timetable information, local knowledge and more

Provide excellent customer support, ensuring a safe and friendly journey for all

Assist drivers and colleagues in supporting and responding to incidents as they arise, communicating with our Operation Control Centre

To be eligible to apply for this role, you will need to be at least 18 years old and have held a full UK Driving Licence for at least 24 months and have no more than 3 penalty points.
