Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Car Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering vehicles efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver cars to designated destinations within the agreed timeframe
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each delivery to identify any damages or issues
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times and address any questions or concerns professionally
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery receipts and vehicle documentation
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle fleet, reporting any maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during each delivery route
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for operating company vehicles; a driver qualification is desirable
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures in physically demanding roles
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Prior experience with vehicle handovers or car dealership deliveries is a plus
